Do you like these sensational images? Our gyro-stabilized cameras will give you equally impressive results, whether you’re in a car on a bad road, on a boat in rough seas or in the air, even in difficult weather conditions.
Why are we unique?
It would be presumptuous to say“we’re the best, the strongest, the most beautiful…” no, though… :). Papa Sierra is 35 years of experience, since when we’ve taken our cameras and participated in shoots all over the world, and it’s this experience that we put at your service.

Shotover, Cineflex, GSS or drones?
What are the advantages of each system, what are the differences and, above all, what is the right choice for each situation? Our core business is, of course, gyrostabilized cameras and aerial filming, both on land and at sea. We’re here to help you find the right system for every shoot.

… and on land
Whether on the ground or on a cable, gyro-stabilized cameras can be adapted to any situation, such as a concert – Cineflex mounted on a crane.

News from the tarmac
It’s on the tarmac of a heliport that you can talk about anything and everything: technique, prod, show photos, ask questions.
That’s what you’ll find on our blog.
IN THE NEWS
A little history
Until the 90s, helicopter shots were taken with the camera on the shoulder and the door open, with all the movements and imperfections that this entailed.
In 1994, Papa Sierra bought his first stabilized camera for the TV game show La Carte aux Trésors, a Wescam 316 SD in PAL 4/3 format, now a museum piece.
A few years later, when HD was in its infancy, we had a Wescam modified to incorporate a Sony HD camera. Portable HD recorders didn’t yet exist, so we used a tape recorder in the control room.
Papa Sierra is now equipped with 6 4K systems and 1 8K system, in addition to its former HD systems, which are still perfectly maintained.

Will we see you soon?
